Welcome to Pretty B Stylez Studio, where luxury, healthy hair, and intentional transformation come together. Pretty B Stylez Studio was created from both passion and purpose and deeply rooted in faith. My journey in hair didn’t begin in a salon. It began at home, in Oakland, California, as the oldest girl out of seven sisters — the second oldest of eleven children, with a comb in my hand at the age of seven. And honestly, it started out of pure necessity. I was so tender headed that I would cry every single time someone did my hair, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and learn to do it myself. What started as self-preservation quickly became something I couldn’t explain. It was a gift. By elementary school, kids were lining up at my house before school so I could do their hair. By middle school it was a full routine. By high school I was doing grown women’s hair and I hadn’t even graduated yet. This was never something I learned from a book. It was placed in me. I enrolled in cosmetology school my senior year, full of excitement and ready to grow. But the environment I stepped into wasn’t one built for my development. I quickly realized I was being used more for my natural skill to benefit the program than I was being poured into and educated. Rather than dim my light trying to fit into a space that wasn’t cultivating me, I made the courageous decision to protect myself, finish high school, and trust God with the rest. And God had a plan. I stepped into healthcare a field rooted in serving people and built a career as a Social Service Director, Activity Director, and Lead in management. I learned leadership, compassion, advocacy, and what it truly means to care for others with intention and dignity. And through all of it, I never put down the comb. Hair was always there. It was never just a hobby or a side job. It was a calling that God kept alive in me no matter where life took me. When the season was right, He called me back to finish what I started. I returned to cosmetology school, completed my training, and became fully licensed, first in Nevada after five years in Las Vegas, and now proudly licensed in the state of Texas. Rooted in Houston and walking boldly in a God-led season of purpose, I felt called to build something greater than a beauty business. I wanted to create a peaceful, elevated space where excellence, intentional care, and faith-inspired service meet a place where women can be poured into, restored, and reminded of their worth from the moment they walk through the door. I love God. I love people. And I believe He placed this gift in my hands to serve women in a way that goes far beyond hair. Cancellation Policy

At Pretty B Stylez Studio, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. To ensure the highest level of service for all guests, we kindly ask that you review our booking policies. A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and will be applied toward your service total. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled within less than 24 hours will incur a 50% charge of the remaining service balance. No-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. Please arrive on time to fully enjoy your experience. A grace period of 10–15 minutes is permitted; arrivals beyond this time may result in cancellation and will be treated as a no-show.
